Medical Technology Associates is expanding its presence in the Northeast through the acquisition of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania-based Energy Plus. The deal with Energy Plus marks the second acquisition by the Pinellas Park-based health care compliance testing and medical gas and equipment supplier since it received a private equity investment last year. Energy Plus, a controlled environments specialist, will expand MTA's service offerings and workforce capacity to better serve national clients, MTA CEO Val Marks told the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
